Check the type of deal you redeemed
YouTrip Perks offers various types of rewards, but not all of them provide cashback. Deals may come in the form of:
- Promo codes
- Cashback deals
- Direct discounts
Review the merchant’s Perks page to confirm which type of reward applies to your purchase.
Review the offer’s terms and conditions
Tap into the merchant’s Perks page and check the Terms and Conditions. Ensure that:
- Your transaction was completed successfully and was not cancelled, returned, or refunded.
- You followed all the required steps listed in the offer.
- You did not click another link, open a new browser window, or use another coupon provider before checking out. Doing so can prevent the cashback from tracking.
Check where the cashback will be credited
Depending on the merchant, your cashback may be:
- Credited directly to your YouTrip Wallet, or
- Paid through the merchant’s own platform
Some merchants may also combine multiple purchases into one cashback entry. Refer to the Perks page for the merchant’s specific payout method.
Check when the cashback is expected to arrive
Cashback timelines vary by merchant. For example:
- Many Perks cashback rewards are issued about one month after purchase. Some are issued only after the stay, booking, or activity is completed.
- For Social Campaign cashback, most cashback is disbursed from a few days to a few weeks after the end of the campaign. Check the campaign page and its terms & conditions for exact details. You may also refer to the following FAQ here to learn more.
Still don’t see your cashback after the stated timeframe?
If the cashback has not been issued after the expected date, it may be because:
- The merchant’s terms and conditions were not fully met, or
- The transaction was not eligible, or
- The purchase could not be tracked (for example, if cookies were disabled or if the purchase journey switched windows or platforms)
