Signing up for YouTrip is quick and easy. Just download the YouTrip app from Google Play or the App Store and follow these steps:
Select Australia as your country of residence.
Enter your phone number and verify it using the OTP sent to you.
Enter and verify your email address.
Take a clear photo of your Australia-issued driving licence or a valid passport (and a valid visa for non-residents).
Record a short self-video for identity verification.
Enter your residential address and personal details (your physical card will be delivered here)
Choose your preferred name to appear on the card.
Once submitted, your application will usually be verified within 15 minutes. If any details need review, processing may take 3 to 5 business days.
Upon approval, you’ll receive an email confirmation and a Virtual YouTrip card will be issued instantly, ready for use while your physical card is on its way.
You can also add your Virtual card to Apple Pay (starting 18 November 2025) or Google Pay to make quick and secure payments through your mobile wallet.
