Every YouTrip user receives both a physical and virtual card as part of one account. When you enter your address during sign-up, you’re requesting delivery of your physical card to that address.
You can manage your physical card anytime in the app. For example, you can lock it if you don’t plan to use it right away.
However, if you choose not to activate or use your physical card, you won’t be able to:
Withdraw cash from ATMs
Pay at merchants that don’t support contactless or mobile wallet payments like Apple Pay(starting 18 November) or Google Pay.
For the best experience, we recommend keeping both cards active:
Virtual card: Perfect for online purchases and mobile wallets such as Apple Pay(starting 18 November 2025) or Google Pay.
Physical card: Needed for ATM withdrawals and in-store payments where a card tap or insert is required.
